SHORT DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE COMPANY (SCREEN GEMS INC.)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Screen Gems is an American film production company and division company of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Columbia Tristar Motion Picture Group that has served several different purposes for its parent companies over the decades since its incorporation. They have made films since 1999 and they are still producing more upcoming films like: The Wedding Ringer, The Perfect Guy and The Last of Us. The 'S' logo was used to show the closing credits of Monkees and The Partridge Family.
ABOUT THE LOGO ('S' LOGO)
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
The scene began with two parallelograms, one near the top centre of the screen and one rising from the bottom of the screen. The top parallelogram was at a distance and moved in closer while the lower one was closer and moved away. They began to move together, growing in length. When they got close to each other the two sections wrapped around a dot, which simultaneously appeared in the centre of the screen, forming the 'S'. The 'S' logo was shown on a yellow background with the S being red sometimes, black other times. This logo was memorable even after all these years of production, I personally think that the creative mind that created this closing logo segment did an excellent job by keeping it simple and straight forward.

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
It starts in a chamber, where a bunch of lamps light on behind the screen. Then it moves across the room to see the screen in front. There are many components of the logo standing in the room (in various distances). When it complete moving, it forms a logo, as though it was flat. The logo shows a red box with FILMS carved out in bottom, and it is surrounded by other boxes so the spaces between them form a stylized letter "4".
